Okay, Its official.  I have evicted my kids out of my car.  The Capri-Sun pouches are out...the dinosaurs and library books are in their bag, awaiting return to the house and library.  I wiped out the cupholders, spot cleaned the carpet, washed the outside and it looks....well "almost" new.   The gummy bears didn't hold up in the Texas heat, but thankfully, the mysterious rainbow goo remained inside the plastic and not on my carpet.  Sounds like a success to me.

Yesterday, on the 5k app, I ran two 10 minute sets divided by a five minute walk.   I have been trying something new while I run so I didn't quite know if I was going to be as motivated.  When I first started exercising I got the fastest, most upbeat music I could find on my Pandora Radio.  But, I started feeling guilty (yes guilty) for listening to some of the lyrics.  Especially since I run in a church gym a few days a week.   So I decided on the days that I run in the Church Gym, I cannot listen to profanity!  I am not sure but I think the Big Man will really frown upon that, especially since I have a tendency to say..."sing" along.  That term I use loosely, especially if you have ever heard me "sing".  I should probably start compiling a safe playlist...but some of those songs just, well, motivate.   I have been downloading a podcast by Joyce Meyer to listen to on the gym days.  So far so Good!

This morning, I got on the scale.  The first time I saw 181.8.  I was so excited.  I went to get my phone so I could take a picture, and somehow, between the bathroom and the bedroom and back, the new weight became 182.6.  That number was nothing for me to share, so I decided that I wouldn't bother taking a picture after all.  I need to wash my scale anyway...I never see a blog with a dirty, dusty scale, but mine definitely is in need of a cleaning before I post a picture of it.  I do have a pretty good pedicure working right now so that part wouldn't embarass me .

Have you ever taken a bath with bathtoys...as an adult?

I watched the Bachelorette yesterday.  Emily, you really should have sent Arie home and kept Sean from Dallas.   He would have been good for you, and you would have been good for Dallas.   Well all that means is that we will be seeing Sean as a bachelor in the future!  I did my run today at 2:30...in Texas.  We had a little cloud cover so it was only 91 degrees F.  Humidity was high so I was drenched by the first half mile.   I am doing the 5k Runner App for I-phone and am on week 5 day 3.   Just a few more weeks and I will (hopefully) be able to run the whole 3.1 miles.
After the run, work, a trip to Walmart with the husband and the sons, dinner at the local pizza/indoor playplace and the Bachelorette... my book and my bath were calling my name.  So in typical fashion I ran the hottest water I could stand.  My husband came in (probably to see if I was reading) and discovered that I hadn't bothered to take the kids' bath toys out.  Have you ever done that?
